The ‘OBKC Games’ are historical and game-changing. Written and created in 2018 by ‘Rio Jones’, the events have finally taken form April-2020. For the first time in American Bully history, or any breed for that matter, The Original Bully Kennel Club® has launched an online platform for dog lovers globally to participate in confirmation dog shows. Innovative and refreshing, you can now save time and money by competing nationally and internationally from the comfort of your home.

  • How do you compete?- It is a simple 8 step process made easy. The first step is registering for competition by clicking the ‘Register Now’ button or visiting https://www.theobkc.com/product/product-obkc-games/. Once you have completed this process, an email with a link to an instructional video will be sent to you.

  • How are your dogs scored?– Your dog is judged and scored based off of their confirmation listed in their perspective standard. See https://www.theobkc.com/breeds/ for The OBKC® standards per breed. Each part of your dog’s physical appearance plays a role in being judged for brood stock, used to carry the breed forward.
    • Each part of your dog’s physical anatomy that is judged, can receive up to 5 points.
    • 300 points and 2 wins are needed for a dog to receive it’s ‘Prize-Winning’ Title.
    • 600 points and 4 wins are needed for a dog to receive its ‘World-Class’ Title.
    • A ‘Win’ is given to the dog that defeats every dog in the single competition.
  • How are the Games formatted?– The games are formatted using ‘Seasons’. There are 2 ‘Seasons’ each year (JAN-MAY & DEC-JUN). During the season, a dog can earn points and wins. Points can be amassed to obtain seasonal titles (Prize-winning & World-class), while win records determine a dog’s placement in the tournament preceding the final game. At the end of each season, The OBKC Games will host its biggest show of the year, “THE OBKC CROWN”. The ‘Crown’ is the only show that names ‘Champions’ and ‘Grand Champions’. 3 ‘Crowns’ and a dog becomes a ‘Grand Champion’.

The OBKC Games have simple participation instructions and simple formats, but the competition will be FIERCE, so bring your A-Game.
